12th Pakistan Psychological Association (PPA) conference

Applied Psychology Department organized the 12th Pakistan Psychological Association (PPA) conference that was held on March 17th & 18th, 2007. Psychologists from all over Pakistan attended this conference taking active participation in it. The topic of the conference was the "psychosocial management in disastrous situations". The conference was inaugurated by Major General Farooq Ahmed Khan (guest of honor) Chairman National Disaster Commission and the closing ceremony was presided over by the minister for health Punjab, Ch Muhammad Iqbal. It was the first time that LCWU was hosting this national conference. This two days mega event was organized and arranged with magnanimous support from the LCWU administration & the vice chancellor in particular. The conference was a great success.
