Inaugurating ceremony of “First Education Student Society”

On 4th December, 2008: there was inauguration of first Education Student Society, in Lahore College for Women University. Ms Shaista Vine (Registrar LCWU) inaugurated the first session along with Chairperson Prof. Dr. Humala Khalid (Dean of oriental languages). The occasion was also honored by chief proctor of LCWU, Dr. Suraya and Head of political science and public relation Department Mrs. Nayyar Masood.

In the second session president of Education Society; Samina Noon explained the objectives of Society which are written bellow:

1. To maintain discipline
2. Society must be aware of the students’ problems and make their best effort to solve the problems.
3. Society would focus on enhancement of educational and social activities in campus; such as arranging seminars, exhibitions, and visit to different colleges for competitions & elaborate UN DAYS.
4. Enhancement of on conducive learning envoirment at campus.

At the last session, Dr. Suraya and Head of Political science and public relation Mrs. Nayyar Masood delivers a speech based on “The Role of Education Student Society in LCWU”.
