Contract Acquisition by Environmental Science Department

We are honored to get the contract of Environmental Monitoring of Gujranwala, Hafizabad And Sialkot Sector from ICC (Pvt) limited for project entitled “Procurement of plant, design, supply and installation of 05 Nos.132KV Transmission Lines (127 km) Different circuits in GEPCO areas” in collaboration with Asian Development Bank.

Membership

Ms. Amina Zafar is the member of National Impact Assessment Program for EIA Curricula Development and institutional capacity of tertiary level institution offering EIA courses since 2011 to date and actively participated in preparation of first draft curriculum which is now submitted to Higher Education Commission, Pakistan for approval.

Achievements of Dr. Nadia Ghani (Assisstant professor)

  • Training on Qualitative Research Methods by using NVIVO Version 10 , no 7th July 2013 at LCWU.
  • Got a research project granted by LCWU on topic of “Toxicological Effects of Mosquito Coil Smoke available in local market” in 2013.
  • Topic:  Webinar on “How Do Students Perceive Plagiarism” Training session for facility at Forman Christian College (Chartered University) on 13th May 2013.
  • One day seminar on Presentations Of Published Researches of students on Environmental Science Department of KCW and other institutions on 7th May 2013.
  • Training course on “Climate Change Issues and Strategies” on 4th to 8th March, 2013 at LCWU.
  • Workshop on “HCFC’s Phase-out and Alternatives” at PC Lahore on 12th Feb, 2013.
