The Gender and Development Society consists of very active and vocal students. These students are advocates of human rights, particularly women’s rights. The members arrange and organize a number of awareness and advocacy activities throughout the year. Celebration of international women’s day on 8th march and 16 days of activism are a hall mark .The society also arranges awareness activities pertaining to diverse issues such as healthy life styles, legal rights, and civic sensibility. Students have been participating and winning in drama and poster competitions held by various agencies. The Gender and Development Society raises funds for Breast Cancer Patients in collaboration with Pink Ribbon annually.
