Dr. Zaib-Un-Nisa Hussain Got Rs. 9.306 Million Grant Form P&D Department For Research

Planning & Development Department, Government of the Punjab has awarded  a  Rs. 9.306 Million Grant to Dr. Zaib-un-nisa Hussain, Foreign Faculty Professor, Lahore College for Women University, to carry out research on “Exposure to Pesticides and its Link to Parkinson’s Disease” and “Epilepsy, Folic Acid and Anti-Epileptic Drugs”.  This is the first time a public sector university has won an award from the P&D department, Government of the Punjab and Dr. Zaib has demonstrated the need for more researchers to initiate and propose good scientific research.  P&D department and LCWU are very enthusiastic as research on both projects has never been established in Pakistan prior to this award.  It is anticipated that Dr. Zaib will bring together outstanding scientific research developments in the field of medicine and chemistry.
