The applicant must have 12 research publications (with at least 3 publications in last 5 years) in HEC recognized journals.
2.	Professor	Electronics	35-55	Ph.D. degree in relevant field, recognized by HEC in consultation with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). 12-years teaching / research experience in a recognized institution / college / University or 12 years professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization out of which 5 years must be teaching experience. OR 10-years post Ph.D. teaching/ research experience in HEC recognized University or a post graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. 12 research publications (with at least 3 publications in HEC / PEC recognized Journals.
3.	Associate Professor	Graphic Design	33-50	Ph.D. in the relevant field from HEC recognized university / institution. 10-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. OR 5-years post Ph.D. teaching / research experience in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. Outstanding and substantial level of professional art activity (Demonstrated by participation in 6-exhibitions at National or International level with two or more than two new works in each exhibition or evidence of equal number of visual communication campaigns designed and published or equivalent work in any other discipline of Art & Design as specified in the research criteria). OR Master’s Degree (Foreign) or M.Phil or equivalent degree awarded after 18-years of education in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution. 12-years teaching / research experience (with at least 4 years experience after the Master’s (Foreign) or equivalent degree in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. OR 5-years post Ph.D. teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
5.	Associate Professor	Computer Science, Electronics	33-50	Ph.D. in the relevant field from institution recognized by HEC in consultation with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and 8 research publications with at least 2 publications in HEC/ PEC recognized Journals. 07-years teaching /research experience in a recognized institution/ college/University or 07-years professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization out of which 2 years must be teaching experience. OR 5-years post Ph.D. teaching / research experience in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
6.	Assistant Professor	Graphic Design	30-45	Ph.D. in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution. OR Master’s Degree (Foreign) or M.Phil or equivalent degree awarded after 18-years of education in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution. 4-years teaching / research experience in a recognized University or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. OR First professional degree (4-years minimum, First Division) from HEC recognized University / Institution. 6-years teaching / research experience in a recognized University or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
7.	Assistant Professor	Psychology, Education, Political Science, Business Studies, Pharmacy, Punjabi, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, English	30-45	Ph.D. in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/ Institution. OR Master’s Degree (Foreign) OR M.Phil (Pakistan) OR equivalent degrees awarded after 18 years of education as determined by the HEC in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/ Institution. 4-years teaching/research experience in a recognized university or a post-graduation Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
8.	Assistant Professor	Electronics, Computer Science	30-45	Ph.D. in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/ Institution. OR Master’s Degree in relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution. 2-years teaching/research experience in a recognized institution / university/ college or 2 years professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
9.	Lecturer	Electronics	21-35	B.Sc. Electronics / Electrical Engineering with 1st division from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd division throughout the academic career.
10.	Lecturer	Computer Science	21-35	MS-CS / BS-CS with no third division from HEC recognized University. Candidate with teaching experience will be preferred.
11.	Lecturer	Fine Arts (Painting)	21-35	1st class Master’s Degree in Painting from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd division throughout the academic career.
12.	Lecturer	Fine Arts (Sculpture)	21-35	1st class Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd division throughout the academic career. Specialization in Sculpture with a record of participation in national exhibitions and teaching experience.
13.	Lecturer	Education (Creative Arts)	21-35	1st class Master’s Degree in Fine Arts (Creative Arts) from HEC recognized University / Institution preferably with B.Ed. / M.Ed. with no 3rd division throughout the academic career.
14.	Lecturer	Graphics Design	21-35	1st class MFA or equivalent Degree in Graphic Design from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd division throughout the academic career.
15.	Lecturer	Psychology,Economics, Islamic Studies, Physics, Gender Studies,H.Eco (Interior Design)	21-35	1st class Master’s Degree in the relevant subject from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd division throughout the academic career.
16.	Lecturer	English	21-35	2-years degree in MA TESOL / ELT / TEFL with 1st division from HEC recognized university / institution plus MA English Literature (at least 2nd division) from HEC recognized university / institution.
17.	Lecturer	Pharmacy	21-35	1st class 5-years Degree Pharm-D / M.Phil with 4-year Degree B.Pharm in 1st division from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd division throughout the academic career.
18.	Lecturer	Zoology	21-35	1st class Master’s Degree in Zoology with specialization in Genetics / Bioinformatics / Molecular Biology from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd division throughout the academic career.
19.	Lecturer	Environmental Science	21-35	1st class Master’s Degree in Environmental Science with specialization in Environmental Chemistry / Environmental Management / GIS from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd division throughout the academic career.
20.	Lecturer	Business Administrations (Human Resources)	21-35	1st class Master’s Degree in Business Administrations with specialization in Human Resources from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd division throughout the academic career.

General Information:

Application Form along with complete CV, attested photocopies of relevant documents, NIC, Domicile, one recent photograph and experience certificates must be attached with the application. Application Forms are available from the Registrar Office on the payment of Rs. 500/-.

The last date for submission of applications is 28th August, 2008.
For all posts only H.E.C. recognized degrees are acceptable. No form will be considered without proper degrees.
For the post of Professor of Pharmacy and Electronic Male candidates are also eligible to apply.
Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be acceptable.
Candidates presently working in Government, Semi Government and Autonomous Bodies should send their applications through Proper Channel only. Advance copies are not acceptable.
Only short listed candidates will be called for the interview.
No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.
