English Debating Society

The English Debating Society instituted in the early years of the Lahore College for Women has to its credit the grooming of some very illustrious debaters. Its objective is to polish and groom students in presenting their views in rational and argumentative discourse, building confidence and oratorical skills.

Activities

The society holds interclass as well as inter collegiate debates each year. It grooms and prepares students for competitions in other educational institutions as we as holding discussion sessions and training sessions for potential debaters. It also holds special competitions on pertinent issues and government sponsored events.
