Department of TESOL

Overview

The TESOL Department was conceived to address the growing need of educating, training and professionally developing English language teachers, practitioners and administrators. The TESOL study programs offer appropriate orientation and pedagogy for teaching and learning of English as second/foreign language to speakers of other languages within a focused specialized context. The aim of the TESOL study programs is to produce as an end target, autonomous and proficient users and trained teachers of English language, through informed knowledge of language theories and language teaching practice, in diverse professional contexts.

The department offers three programs:

BS TESOL (4 years)

MA TESOL (2 years)

MS TESOL (2 years)
