Students of the Department of Gender and Development Studies organized an extension lecture and Orientation Training Workshop on "Gender based Violence, Prevention and Response during Emergencies" at the Student Service Center, LCWU, in collaboration with the Women Development Department, Government of the Punjab and Mumkin Alliance. The lecture was delivered by Ms. Risham Adnan (Gender Specialist, South Asia Partnership Pakistan). In her lecture, she shared the important aspects and facts of Gender Based Violence, Prevention and Response during Emergencies. She also conducted an activity with students during the lecture regarding counselling and empowerment.
