The Department of Computer Science is delighted to announce the outstanding achievement of two of our brilliant students, Maryam Fareed and Eman Yaqoob, who participated in the prestigious Huawei ICT Competition 2022-2023 Global Final. This international competition featured the Network and Innovation Track and culminated at Huawei Headquarters in Shenzhen, China. Notably, this event attracted more than 120,000 students from over 2000 universities across 74 countries and regions worldwide, making it a highly competitive platform.

We are proud to share that Maryam Fareed, representing Lahore College for Women University, collaborated with a team member from Mehran University of Engineering & Technology Jamshoro. Their exceptional performance led them to secure the second prize in the Network Track. Additionally, Eman Yaqoob, also from Lahore College for Women University, teamed up with members from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro and FAST-nu Islamabad. Together, they showcased remarkable skills and claimed the third prize in the same category, surpassing numerous competing teams from around the globe.
These remarkable achievements reflect the dedication, talent, and hard work of our students and teachers. We applaud their exceptional performance and extend our heartfelt congratulations to them for bringing such honor to the department of Computer Science, Lahore College for Women University, and Pakistan as a whole.
