Pakistan Dairy Association and Lahore College for Women University jointly organized a seminar on World Milk Day under the slogan "Women's Health is Nation's Health". The seminar was organized on June 1, 2023, by the Department of Gender and Development Studies at LCWU in Iqra Auditorium. Raja Jahangir Anwar, director general of Punjab Food Authority joined the seminar along with Rao M. Imran, head of quality and regulatory affairs, Fauji Foods, and Dr. Zubair Ahmed, manager of operations Pakistan Dairy Association. They present the importance of dairy products and safety and factors of milk quality from farms. The seminar was also attended by the respected Vice Chancellor of LCWU Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza and Vice Chancellor of the University of Education Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha, who also shared their views in the seminar. Dr. Uzma Ashiq Khan, incharge Department of Gender & Development Studies, LCWU presented the welcome note and all the faculty and staff of GDS actively participate in organizing the seminar.
