19th Convocation of Lahore College for Women University

The 19th Convocation of Lahore College for Women University took place on January 23, 2024, at the Iqra Auditorium LCWU. The inaugural session, presided over by Chancellor, Governor of the Punjab Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman, marked the distribution of 4,744 degrees during two sessions. The degrees included 77 PhDs, 818 MS/MPhil, and 2220 in various undergraduate programs such as BS, BBA, BCom, BE, B. Architecture, BSCS, BFA, and Doctor of Pharmacy.

19thconvo1.jpeg - 99.88 kBAffiliated colleges of Lahore College for Women University, namely Government Graduate College for Women Samanabad (665 students), Government Islamia Graduate College for Women Cooper Road (540 students), and Government Graduate College for Women Gulberg(424 students), were among those awarded degrees. A total of 898 students were honored with medals and roll of honors. Notably, one student received the Vice-Chancellor Gold Medal, three students received special Gold Medals, 66 students were presented with Academic Gold Medals, and 64 students were honored with Silver Medals.

The second session of convocation was chaired by Dr. Shahid Munir who appreciated the event and tremendous progress of LCWU. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz, presented LCWU's annual performance report and extended congratulations to parents and students alike. The convocation served as a celebration of academic excellence and a testament to the dedication and accomplishments of the graduating students.
