Service Activity

  • Chairperson of the department, working for all administrative and academic working of the department.
  • Development of new courses of BFA Graphic Design degree program according to HEC curriculum development program.
  • Collaboration and linkage development with PIG&J, Pakistan.
  • Degree Programs/2008-2014. Student Internship collaboration with the top Advertising agencies, Software House and Organizations.
  • May-June 2012. Course development of BFA Textile Design (Four year degree program) with the consent of Textile Design professionals which is approved by the board of studies and Academic Council.
  • March 2012. PC I (Phase I & II) Preparation, submitted to P & D Department, LCWU for Higher Education Commission approval.
  • Feb-June 2012Courses Developed.
  •                Conducted three successful meetings of Department Board of studies.
  • Sep 2009 Developed the whole syllabus of two years MFA Graphic Design Program.
  • Nov 2004 Co-organized/Assists the main organizers, seven days workshop for LCWU in collaboration with UNESCO on the Gender Discrimination in Book Illustrations of Punjab Text Book Board, held in Holiday Inn, Lahore.
  • July 2005 Co-organized/ Assists the main organizers, three days National Seminar for LCWU in collaboration with UNESCO on the Strengthening and Networking of Gender Studies in LCWU.
  • 2005 Co-organized and Curate an annual exhibition of Design & Visual Arts in LCWU, inaugurated by Governor of the Punjab.
  • 2006 Organized an exhibition of posters titled ‘Environmental Pollution’ in Environmental Sciences Department, LCWU in collaboration with International Centre for Literacy and Culture Tokyo, Japan.
  • 2006 Organized and Curate an annual exhibition of Design & Visual Arts in LCWU. Inaugurated by Governor of the Punjab.
  • 2006 Co-organized Anti Narcotics Force Advertising Campaign Exhibition in Alhamra Art Galleries Lahore.

  • July 2009 Organized 35 days 3D Animation workshop in Design and Visual Arts Department, LCWU
  • March 2010 Organized an annual exhibition of Design & Visual Arts, titled ‘OUT OF THE BOX’ in City Heritage Museum Lahore inaugurated by Education Minister of Punjab.
  • Sep 2011 Organized an annual exhibition of Design & Visual Arts, titled ‘DEGREE SHOW 2011’ in Design & Visual Arts Department, LCWU inaugurated by Vice Chancellor of the University.
  • March 2012 Organized a Seminar & Display of 3D Animation and Video Production in LCWU.
  • Currently organizing various workshops, lecture series and seminars for students and faculty development.

Contemporary Graphic Design Practices which mainly includes new graphic technologies.

The advertising conceptualization and its impacts.
Evolution of Art & Design through the historic perspective.
