Brief Statement of Research Interest


I joined the Department of History, Lahore College for Women University Lahore, in 2017 as Assistant professor. I undertook my PhD, M.Phil and Masters in History at the Department of History, GC, University, Lahore. I also completed a Masters in Political Science. My areas of interest in teaching include: British Colonialism, Indian History, Political History of Pakistan, History of South Asia,IDC (History of Civilization), Cultural History of Pakistan, Freedom Movement and the History of Nineteenth Century Urdu Literature. I am supervising BS and M.S theses in History
