    FAQ's

    Q 1: I do not want to disclose my problem with any one and also feel that my friends will see me by taking psychological assistance, please help me in such regard? 

    Answer: Dear, there is no one in this world who does not have problems in life. It’s only the matter of severity and intensity that differs. Do not wait for the time when problems control you. You can share your problems with psychologists in the Centre who are there to help you out. Feel free to visit Counseling Centre. 

    Q 2: I am hesitant to share my personal information with psychologists. I am afraid what will my friends and teachers think when they will come to know about my personal issues? 

    Answer: Dear client, we do not disclose personal information of our clients to anyone. Privacy and confidentiality of information shared by clients is maintained.
    Q 3: I have problem in giving presentation in the class room, how can I overcome it?

    Answer: There are lots of confidence building exercises, and anxiety management skills. You can visit Counseling Centre for ‘individual counseling’ and can get written materials on techniques regarding confidence building.

    Seminar Hall

    Seminar Hall Accommodates 200 participants at one time. It is an up to date, fully equipped facility, where seminars, workshops and conferences are held, pertaining to awareness, guidance, information provision, new advancements, and other relevant issues. This facility is for the whole campus.

    Please confirm the availability of the seminar hall before finalizing the dates of the event.

    Students can take counseling sessions for different problems they encounter in their life. Some of them include following:

    •    Difficulty in stress management

    •    Difficulty in Anger management

    •    Difficulty in Subject selection

    •    Difficulty in Career Selection

    •    Personal Problems (educational, familial)

    •    Relationship Problems (family, friends, and teachers)

    •    Adjustment issues at university and hostel

    •    Uncertainty regarding future

    •    Exam and presentation anxiety

    •    Interview Anxiety etc.

    All these services are provided by professional psychologists with the assurance of Confidentiality

    Career Guidance and Counseling Centre

    ‘Career Guidance and Counseling Centre’ is offering counseling and guidance services to students of LCWU. The main focus of the Centre is individual and group counseling under the logo of trust and confidentiality. Individual and Group Counseling sessions are conducted to resolve personal and educational and familial issues of clients. In addition to counseling services, psychological assessment services including intelligence and personality assessment are also available for the students and staff of LCWU. All these services are free of cost.
