The focus of the students of Textile Design was on intermingling of traditional designs with modern techniques, western and eastern cuts of dresses, traditional motives, traditional embroidery with modern designs, textile accessories and implementation of modern designs in embroidery and embellishment on products all were the part of the Degree Show 2019, which attract the visitor. 
Entire work was highly appreciated by LCWU faculty members, high officials, relevant Industrial linked persons, Faison outlets, renowned persons of the field and gentry, which make the path easy for freshly professional graduated students to get jobs and make place in market with their creativity and outstanding talent.

The students of Interior Design Department, IDVA, LCWU exhibited the Degree Show 2019 at Alhamra Arts Council Lahore, on 3rd July 2019. The Show was inaugurated by the Malik Asad Khokhar (MPA) Chairman, Chief Minister Complaint Cell, along with Dr. Samina Nasim Director Institute of Design and Visual Arts, and faculty members of the Department with renounced intellectuals of the relevant field.
he thesis work of students was based on creative ideas, innovative concepts and perfection of skill. Different newly designed and re-designed plans of various places, exploration of constructive material, representation of miniature 3D models all were the part of the Interior Design Degree Show.

Memorandum of Undersigning
On May 26th 2016 Three Memorandum of Understanding were signed between Lahore College for Women University, Pakistan and Hebei Normal University, China in the various fields of Art and Design.
One MOU was signed between the Department of Fine Arts, LCW, University and the School of Arts and Design, Hebei Normal University, China. The second was signed between the Department of Visual Arts, LCW, University and College of History and Culture, Hebei Normal University, China. The third was signed between the Department of Textile and Interior Design with Department of Clothing and Costume Design, Hebei Normal University, China.

Hebei Normal University Shijhazuang, China celebrated International week and organized teachers International Art Exhibition from 15th November 2017 to 22rd November 2017, at the Museum Gallery of the University. The prominent teachers from Hebie Nornal University China, Chungnam National University Korea and Lahore College for Women University Lahore participated in this week and exhibited their excellent created works. During this International week four artists belong to Lahore College for Women University successfully displayed their Solo Shows. Naseem Hafeez Qazi Art Galllery in the Institute aims to provide a platform to the young and energetic female students of all five departments of the Institute to display their thought provoking art works. We encourage our Visual Artists to paint something innovative and creative. The students learn traditional and modern techniques / methods of Painting but on the other hand our Designers play vital role in the field of Textile, Graphic and Interior Design. Our objective is to prepare the graduates for an active design role in the industry – while keeping an eye on tomorrow’s human needs for responsible design environments. We are focused on professional education and in the process of creating professional designers who will take into account our heritage and history, engaging with the realities of today as they design for tomorrow. Overview
Lahore College for Women University shares a glorious history of academic education for being one of the largest female educational Institution of Asia that was given the status of a University in 2002 but was established as a College in 1922. It has played an integral role for the development of new and advance departments that are fostering modern trends of education and research. The Fine Arts Department of LCWU established by Naseem Hafeez Qazi was transformed into Institute of Design and Visual Arts in 2012 with the addition of professional subjects of Art and Design for widening the parameters of experience and professional training in order to meet the modern trends of art education. This Institute aims to impart professional skills and essential knowledge required in the contemporary millennia and encourages the creative abilities of students. The institute is successfully running degree courses in Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Textile Design and Interior Design at the Lahore Campus and degree course in Textile and Craft Design at Jhang Campus. Research Center Art and Design accommodates students of all disciplines of Art and Design after 16 years education and offers MS/MFA and Phd in Fine Arts with their relevant area of specialization.
