Brief Statement of Research Interest

Dr. Ali Sharif is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Pharmacy, Lahore College for Women University, Lahore. He received his PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology in 2016, from the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Biosciences, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore.  His PhD work was focused on genotoxic, mutagenic, cytotoxic and microbiological evaluation of pharmaceutical waste water. He has a teaching experience of more than 11 years. He has produced more than 20 M.Phil. students as major supervisor. He is author of more than 45 research papers and book chapters. He is the associate editorial board member of different journals like “Coronaviruses”. His expertise and interests mainly focus on toxicological mechanisms of chemicals and amelioration of chronic disorders using medicinal plants and nutraceuticals.
