In the present scenario of harsh propaganda campaign against Islam , the subject of Islamic Studies in the universities of Muslim countries has acquired greater importance. We consider it our foremost duty to present the real picture of Islam to the world and dispel all those distorted images of Islam of Islam which are currently being spread among the international community. We need to prepare our students to answer all those burning questions against Islam and Islamic teachings and for this purpose the brightest people amongst us must come forward to offer their services to Islam by choosing the subject of Islamic Studies with the sense of a mission and a duty.

The mission of the department is to provide in depth knowledge of basic Islamic Sciences such as: Al-Quran , Al-Hadith & Seerah , Al-Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence), Islamic Economics, Comparative Study of Religions, Islamic History, Islamic Culture & Civilization etc. We want to create better understanding of Islam and contemporary challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah and hope to establish a cadre of professionals in the domain of Islamic Studies.
