GIFT University , Gujranwala hosted the 2nd International Interdisciplinary Conference on Language Teaching (IICLT) on the 23rd and 24th of April, 2024. Dr. Aniqa Munir, Dr. Tahira Khanam, and  Ms. Hira Saleem Khan from the English Department participated in a thought-provoking panel discussion pertaining to  "Language and Identity." Ms. Saima Najib served as the moderator. The panelists discussed the intricacies of bilingualism, multilingualism, and provided an insightful critique on how language impacts our individual and collective conceptions of identity in an ever-transforming and ever-evolving world. The Dean of School of Arts and Social Sciences at GIFT University - Dr. Asir Ajmal - commended the panelists for their engaging discussion and awarded them souvenirs for their remarkable contribution.
