Service Activity
As a dedicated lecturer, I integrate industry experience with academic instruction to offer students a well-rounded and practice-oriented understanding of interior design. In addition to teaching core subjects, I have actively contributed to departmental responsibilities, serving as Stock In-Charge and Semester Exam Coordinator. These roles have involved overseeing paper setting, coordinating with subject faculty, and managing examination results.
In 2024, I served as Thesis Advisor for the BFA-IV Interior Design Thesis. In 2025, I supervised Mini Thesis and Furniture Design, along with other core subjects, providing academic and design guidance across multiple levels.
Brief Statement of Research Interest
My research focuses on the Westernization of interior design in the subcontinent, particularly how it has overshadowed indigenous design traditions. I am also exploring the concept of hapticity in interior environments and investigating the impact of artificial intelligence on design education and studio culture.

Other Research or Creative Accomplishments
- I am a Lahore-based interior designer with experience in both residential and commercial projects, including the PIA CIP Lounge at Allama Iqbal International Airport, the Darbar Mahal lounge renovation in Bahawalpur, and various army messes in Rawalpindi, Multan, and Lahore. I have also presented research in design and education at international conferences in Dubai and Malaysia.
