Dr. Rabia Tabassum is a Lecturer in the Department of Research and Policy Studies, Faculty of Education, at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), Lahore. She also serves as the Coordinator of the BS Education Program one of the flagship initiatives in the field of Teacher Education at LCWU. With 22 years of professional experience, she has worked both in law enforcement and in higher education at the tertiary level. Dr. Tabassum has played a pivotal role in launching the BS Education Program at LCWU and has developed ten innovative courses for bachelor-level students. Her academic and research interests span a diverse range of areas, including science education, educational psychology, information technology in education, and decision-making in higher education. She has extensive teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, offering courses such as Curriculum Theories and Design, Educational Leadership, Statistics, and Research Methodology. Dr. Tabassum’s teaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of active and engaging learning environments. She believes that students deserve high-quality instruction and frequent opportunities to act, react, and interact with peers and instructors. Her approach stresses relevant curriculum materials, high yet achievable standards of excellence, and a strong commitment to fostering optimal student learning. With more than 45 research publications to her credit, Dr. Rabia Tabassum has contributed significantly to academic scholarships. She has presented at international conferences, published in renowned peer-reviewed journals, and supervised numerous M. Phil and PhD scholars. She currently serves as the Managing Editor of the International Journal of Educational Enquiry and Review (IJEER), published by the Department of Research and Policy Studies, and has also founded the Research, Innovation and Commercialization Journals: (RIC Journal for Social Sciences). Additionally, she is an active member of the editorial review boards of several academic journals. Her published work includes contributions to the following heading.
