Activities

  • Actively participated in 3-day International Conference on “Language Sciences in the Developing World”, held from Jan11-13, 2013.

  • Participated in the preparation of PC1 for the strengthening of faculties of LCWU, submitted to Planning Commission of Pakistan.

  • Participated in the preparation of PC1 for Kala Shah Kaku Campus, Lahore.

  • Arranged the Bonfire Event on March 1, 2013 in connection with Student Fund-Raising Campaign.

  • 2 faculty members of Economics Department participated in LCWU-UCL Workshop on Climate Change in April, 2013.

  • Arranged 3-day Workshop on Case Study Teaching Method in collaboration with QEC, LCWU from May27-29, 2013. Former Vice-President World Bank was the resource person.

  • Prepared and submitted Annual Report of the faculty in June, 2013.

  • Presented Paper on “Global Food Loss and Waste within Food Supply Chain (Causes and Prevention with Special Reference to Pakistan)”, on World Environment Day (June 5, 2013) organized by Pakistan Engineering Congress.

  • Actively participated in the preparation of LCWU Strategic Business Plan.

  • Participated in the preparation of Management Courses of 2-Year Degree Program, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

  • Participated in the setting up of laboratory Model Primary School at LCWU.

  • Assisted in Inter-mediate admission in August 2013.

  • Supervised MS admissions in September 2013.

  • Attended and participated in the international conference on Fundamentals of Assessment in Higher Education on September 13-14, 2013.

  • Supervised BS (4-Year) admission 2013-2017 in the disciplines of Economics, BBA, B-Com and BPA.

  • Regular attendance in all the events organized by Benazir Bhutto Chair on every Thursday afternoon.

  • Submitted the areas of research for HRD component of HEC funded project “Strengthening of Faculties of LCWU”

    Department of Economics arranged a recreational trip to Kalar Kahar on 24th February, 2018 for the students of BS (IV) and MS (I).
