Health Benefits and Food Fortification

Department of Home Economics organized a seminar in collaboration with COTHM on Awareness about “Health Benefits and food fortification” on 17th, September 2019. It highlighted the significance of using fortified foods to overcome nutrient deficiencies among people belonging to different age groups. In countries where intakes of certain nutrients are very low, fortification can help reduce nutrient deficiency diseases.
