22nd April 2021: Lahore: Lahore College for Women University(LCWU) is ranked 7th in Gender Equality among 776 Institutions of the world in 2021 Impact Rankings by Times Higher Education. LCWU is ranked 6 amongb36 general universities of Pakistan.
The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings are the only global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). LCWU is ranked 6th among 36 Universities of Pakistan which appeared in 2021 impact rankings. LCWU received overall rank of 401-600 out of 1115 institutions of the world. The individual SDGs in which LCWU, Lahore performed remarkable are; SDG 4, SDG 5, SDG 10, and SDG 17. The SDG 4 (Quality Education) symbolizes in ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. The SDG 5 (Gender Equality) represents achievement towards gender equality and empowers all women and girls. The SDG 10 (Reducing inequalities) reduces income inequality within and among countries. The SDG 17 (Partnership for the goals) strengthens the means of implementation and revitalizes the global partnership for sustainable development. The LCWU, Lahore is ranked 7th in Gender Equality among 776 Institutions of the world in 2021 Impact Rankings. In addition, LCWU is ranked 101-200 in Quality Education out of 996 Institutions of the world.
