The Department of Sociology organized an orientation session for undergraduate students of LCWU to shed light on the emerging scope of sociology. Dr. Asma Seemi Malik, Head of the Department, elaborated the significance of this subject and highlighted the various career opportunities available to students.

Ms. Kiran Ikram, discussed the practical applications of sociology in various fields, such as healthcare, academia, and policymaking. Ms. Komal Cheema, shed light on the foundational courses that are a part of the subject. The purpose of this orientation was to give students valuable information for their future paths and to increase the enrollment of students at LCWU.
