Department of Environmental Science, Lahore College for Women University organized 1-Day lecture on the topic "Understanding Disaster" on 1st March 2023 by Dr. Hameed Ullah Malik Director Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA). Major chunks of the lecture were Determinants of life, Disaster Life Cycle, Types of disasters & role of PDMA . Moreover, the lecture comprised of an overview of map of Pakistan* on Google Earth discussing every part with respect to disasters. The lecture ended with questions/answers session .
