On 16 September 2025, the Director DFDI, Prof. Dr. Zohra Kayani, inaugurated the International Language Hub (ILH) under the International Resource Centre (IRC) at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU). The launch reflects the vision of the Worthy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr Uzma Quraishi and LCWU’s strong commitment to internationalization, creating global opportunities and strengthening academic linkages for both faculty and students.
The event was graced with the presence of the Heads of DFDI and the dedicated team of the International Resource Centre. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Zohra Kayani especially appreciated the efforts of Dr. Nausheen Mazhar, Head IRC, and Dr. Sana Baig, Program Leader ILH, for their dedication in transforming this vision into reality. She also acknowledged the outstanding contribution of Dr. Ayesha Iqbal, the developer of the IRC interactive website, whose creativity and technical expertise made the platform possible.

Together, these initiatives mark a significant step in strengthening LCWU’s international presence and empowering its academic community to pursue global opportunities.
