17-11-2025: Professor Dr. Uzma Quraishi, Vice Chancellor LCWU, along with Deans, Directors, and CODs attended the event and paid tribute to Dr. Arifa for her remarkable services to the institution.Professor Dr. Syeda Arifa began her journey at LCWU as a student and later, in 1966, joined the Urdu Department as a Lecturer. She went on to serve as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor, and further contributed to the institution as Vice Principal and Principal.Speakers remembered her as a distinguished scholar, an inspiring teacher, and a guiding force whose intellectual depth, grace, and dedication shaped generations of students. Her lifelong commitment to education, language, and culture will always remain a proud part of LCWU’s legacy.
