Dr. Zubaida Umar Baba, Diversity Support Worker at the New Wortley Community Centre, Leeds, UK, met the Vice-Chancellor of LCWU, Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi on 17th November 2025 and discussed prospects for mutual collaboration in migration and conflict-related research. Dr. Baba was hosted by IRC, DFDI, LCWU, and delivered a seminar and workshop during her stay in Lahore. Both sides expressed a strong commitment to building long-term partnerships with UK-based institutions to enhance research, capacity building, and student engagement. Dr. Baba expressed her gratitude for the warm hospitality extended to her and praised the professionalism and dedication of the faculty and students at LCWU. The meeting concluded with a souvenir presentation by the Vice-Chancellor in recognition of Dr. Baba’s valuable contribution.
