“LCWU Department of International Relations Observes Black Day: Honoring APS Victims and Reflecting on Fall of Dhaka”

The Department of International Relations, Lahore College for Women University, observed Black Day on 16 December 2025 to commemorate the APS Peshawar tragedy and the Fall of Dhaka.

A one-minute silence was observed in tribute to the victims. A poster competition and faculty commentary session were held to promote critical reflection, awareness, and academic dialogue. Prof. Dr. Shabnam Gul, Chairperson IR, emphasized unity, inclusivity, and national cohesion, encouraging students to reflect on historical tragedies with a spirit of collective harmony.
