“AI Won’t Replace You—But Someone Using It Might: LCWU Lecture Sparks Dialogue on Future HR”
The Department of Sociology, Lahore College for Women University, successfully organized the sixth session of its ongoing Lecture Series, aimed at promoting critical inquiry and interdisciplinary learning. The lecture, titled “Future-Ready HR in the Age of AI: Why AI Won’t Replace You, but Someone Using It Will,” explored the implications of artificial intelligence for human resource management and future workplaces.
Dr. Fareed Ud Din Qureshi, Assistant Professor, Beaconhouse National University, delivered a research-oriented and engaging talk highlighting AI literacy and human–technology collaboration. Dr. Asma Seemi Malik emphasized preparing students for technological change. The session was organized by Dr. Kiran Ikram and Ms.Komal Riaz Cheema.
