HEC Digital Learning & Skills Enrichment Initiative (DLSEI)



LCWU in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan under Digital Learning & Skills Enrichment Initiative (DLSEI) is offering Students and Faculty a great opportunity for skill development and certifications from world’s top universities through Coursera platform.

This program will provide an opportunity to access the online courses and certifications from top universities of the world and get a chance to enroll themselves in the highest-ranked and most expensive online courses. This program will enhance students’ skills & abilities, and further equip them in a better way for practical life challenges, self-development, etc. For more information, please visit HEC website https://dlsei.hec.gov.pk.

Eligibility Criteria for the DLSEI Program:

1. LCWU Students currently enrolled in 16-year education programs and above are eligible.

2. LCWU Faculty members are also eligible.

3. The applicant must have a valid CNIC/ B-form number.

4. Alumni who have graduated within the past 02 years of the launch date of this Coursera Program. Alumni will contact HEC directly for registration.

Procedure:

1. Read the instructions carefully as provided on HEC-DLSEI website (https://dlsei.hec.gov.pk/site/faqs)

2. Fill out form available at https://forms.gle/wXDqGnRAGZk2rNoe9

3. Download the Disclaimer Form, fill, and sign

4. Deposit Rs. 4,000/- (Four Thousand Only) Coursera License Fee through Challan Form.

Challan form is available with Mr. Mohammad Siddique, Fee Branch, Gangaram Building, LCWU.

5. Submit following documents to Focal Person for registration.

  1. Signed Declaimer Form
  2. Challan Form receipt for focal person.
  3. Students will also provide a copy of their student ID card.

6. The number of seats are limited and will be offered on first come first serve basis.

Eligibility for Refund:

For a refund the following conditions must be satisfied.

1. Enrolled in at least one course within 14 days of the receiving of the Coursera license.

2. Complete at least one course within the first 3 months of receiving the Coursera license.

3. Successfully complete 3 courses (at least 75% minimum score in each course).

4. The account is not dormant for 90 days.

Coursera License is available free of cost for eligible physically challenged/differently-abled students at a 2% quota. (Government-issued disability certificate is required to be eligible)
