Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) took a significant step towards enhancing campus security with the inauguration of a new Security Check Post opposite the Social Science Building. The inauguration ceremony, held on 25/04/2024 was graced by the presence of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Shagufta Naz.
The event not only marked the establishment of the new security check post but also included emergency drills conducted by the LCWU security staff. The drills served to showcase the exceptional skills of the security team in handling emergency situations effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone on campus.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Shagufta Naz inaugurated the check post and took the opportunity to express her appreciation for the excellent service rendered by the LCWU security team. She commended the dedication and professionalism of the team, emphasizing the importance of their role in maintaining a secure environment conducive to learning and growth.
Mr. Qadeer Sulehri, Chief Security Officer at LCWU, led the security team and played a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of security measures across the campus.
