Faculty of Management and Administrative Sciences at Lahore College for Women University proudly hosted the 3rd International Conference on Contemporary Issues in Management and Administrative Sciences on Monday, December 2, 2024, at the Iqra Auditorium (Day-1). Under the theme "Innovating Management for a Sustainable Future," the conference brought together renowned scholars, industry professionals, and thought leaders to address pressing challenges in management and sustainability.
The inaugural session began with reciting the Holy Quran and the national anthem, setting a reflective and unified tone for the event. Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi, Worthy Vice Chancellor of LCWU, delivered a compelling opening address, emphasizing the importance of innovative strategies for sustainable development. The session was graced by Mr Mian Abuzar Shad, President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI), as the Chief Guest, who highlighted the vital role of academia-industry collaboration in addressing contemporary management issues and announced the Rs. 1 million for the betterment of the labs in Department of Management Sciences. Adding depth to the discussions, Engr. Prof. Dr Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor of MNS - UET Multan, shared insights on the intersection of agriculture and management sciences, while senior journalist Prof. Naeem reflected on the media's role in promoting sustainability.
The day featured keynote speeches by distinguished scholars, including: Dr Ibrahim Rashid Al Shams, Dr Muhammad Tayyab Safdar, Dr Umair Akram, Dr Aman Ullah, and Professor Adriana Burleaschiopoiu from various renowned institutes globally.
Welcoming remarks by Dr Adeel Nasir, Chairperson of the Department of Management Sciences, and Dr Sobia Hassan, incharge of the Department of Public Administration, set the stage for a day of enriching dialogue and intellectual exchange. The sessions, moderated by Dr Saqib Rehman, featured prominent speakers such as Prof. Dr Mubbasher Munawar Khan (University of Central Punjab), Prof. Dr Muhammad Mudassar Gafoor (University of Punjab), Prof. Dr Sayyid Salman Rizavi (University of Punjab), Prof. Dr Athar Azim Khan (Virtual University), Prof. Dr Rana Muhammad Ayub (University of Punjab), Dr Shahid A. Zia (University of the Punjab), and Dr. Kamran (University of the Punjab). Their thought-provoking discussions centered on innovative management solutions and the importance of sustainability in administrative sciences.
The day concluded with a souvenir distribution to honour the contributions of esteemed guests and organizers. By hosting this prestigious event, LCWU reaffirmed its commitment to advancing meaningful dialogue and fostering collaborative efforts to address contemporary challenges in management and sustainability.

- An early bird discount of 20% in registration fee will be offered to those who will submit registration within 15 days of receipt of the acceptance letter.
- Payment must be made in USD or PKR only. The conference organizers will not accept any bank charges associated with the transfer of money.
- Each paid registration covers only one paper; you can pay Extra Paper Charges for one more paper from the same first author who already has a paid registration with early bird discount/normal fee.
- International presenters will be charged extra USD 50 for on campus accommodation and other related charges.
- Registration fees includes conference materials, refreshments for conference days, and attending all technical sessions.
- At least one author for each accepted final paper must pre-register.
- The Co-author who wants to obtain co-author certificate must have to register will full fee.
- Registration fee for each accompanying person/listener/attendee/participant is 1000PKR/50USD (With food and Without Conference Kit)
- International presenters who want to join virtually will have to pay USD20 for presentation/participation and certificates.
- Delegates should bear the service Charges (if any) of the bank in the Sender's Side.
