Video Highlights: Youm-e-Tashakur

Lahore College for Women University organized a Youm-e-Tashakur and flag hoisting ceremony to commemorate the success of Operation Baniyan Marsous. The event aimed to honour the courage and achievements of the Pakistan Armed Forces.

Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Uzma Qureshi hoisted the national flag, while students, faculty members, and university staff gathered in large numbers to express solidarity and gratitude.

In her address, Dr. Uzma Qureshi stated, "The students, faculty, and the entire nation are grateful to the Government of Pakistan and our brave Armed Forces for their historic victory against India."

Participants paid rich tributes to the Armed Forces, lauding their valor and dedication. Students held placards saluting the courage of the military, and the atmosphere was filled with patriotic slogans, including enthusiastic chants of “Pakistan Zindabad."

The ceremony was further honoured by the presence of Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) Sajid Habib, who attended as the guest of honour and expressed pride in the resilience and professionalism of the Armed Forces.

The event concluded with prayers for national unity, strength, and continued peace in the region.
