First Mind Matters Exposition Promotes Mental Health Awareness
Department of Applied Psychology successfully organized the First Mind Matters Exposition, a mental health awareness event and exhibition on campus. The event aimed to highlight the importance of mental health and well-being.
Prof. Dr. Arifa Tahir chairperson Department of Environmental Science attended the event on behalf of the worthy Vice Chancellor LCWU.
Prof. Dr. Rafia Rafique, President PPA, also graced the occasion as guest of honor. The exhibition featured a wide range of research posters, mental health awareness posters, models, and informative displays prepared by students. Their creativity and hard work were evident in both the exhibits and the decoration of the department.
Faculty members actively guided and supported the students, and the event reflected strong teamwork and collaboration. The initiative was conceptualized and guided by the Chairperson, Prof. Dr. Amina Muazzam, whose mentoring played a key role in making the event a success.
Mind Matters received an encouraging response from students and visitors and successfully promoted awareness and dialogue around mental health and psychological well-being.
Prof. Dr. Rafia Rafique appreciated the students’ creativity and the quality of the displays, and commended the department for organizing such an impactful awareness initiative.
