Degree Programs Offered with Eligibility Criteria 

DEE is offering two-degree programs as follows  

1-    Bachelor in Electrical Engineering (B.E. Electrical) with Specialization in
a)    Electronics 
b)Computers 

2-    Masters in Electrical Engineering (MS-EE)

Eligibility Criteria for the degree program B.E. Electrical

Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in any one of the following disciplines, along with a valid entry test score conducted by a PEC-recognized authority (i.e., any designated entry test conducting body as per PEC admission policy):

• Pre-Engineering
• Pre-Medical
• Computer Science (ICS)
• DAE (Electronics/Electrical)
• B.Sc. with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry

Note: Candidates applying on the basis of first-year (HSSC Part-I) results may be granted provisional admission. However, if after the declaration of HSSC Part-II results, the candidate’s overall marks fall below 60%, their provisional admission will be cancelled without exception.

Admission Criteria for B.E. Electrical

As per recent PEC admission criteria.

Following are the designated Entity/Testing Agencies to conduct Entry test as per PEC admission policy.

1.    Entry Test being conducted by UET Lahore 

2.    Entry test being conducted by NED-UET, Karachi and MUET, Jamshoro 

3.    Entry test being conducted by NUST, Islamabad 

4.    Entry Test being conducted by NTS 

5.    Entry Test being conducted by ETEA 

6.    Any other existing recognized entity conducting entry test.

Eligibility criteria for the degree program MS-EE

1.     16 years of education in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (securing a minimum of 60% marks / CGPA of 2.5/4.00) 

2.     Candidate must have valid PEC registration number 

3.     Entry Test with 50% qualifying marks and interview organized by department is mandatory for admission. 

4.     Merit is constituted based on Academic-60%, Test-25% and Interview-15%.
