  • Faculty Member at Lahore College for Women University, Lahore (Nov 2010 till date).
    Responsible for teaching Courses and conducting lab sessions on Computer fundamentals and Photonics and Optics, Programming Fundamentals (Python, C, C++), Data Structures & Algorithms, Modeling and Simulation, Deep Learning, Data Sciences, Electromagnetic Field Theory, Principle of Photonics, and Optoelectronic Devices to undergraduate and graduate students of Electrical Engineering.
  • Research Fellow at Bio-Agri Photonics Lab (BAP), SBASSE, LUMS, Lahore (Nov 2017 to June 2022).
    Worked on numerical methods, optimization and mathematical formulation, and advanced electromagnetic modeling of ultra-sensitive fiber optical sensors by exploiting exceptional points and using the finite element method. Built multi-cavity Fabry-Perot structures for distortionless flat-top optical bandpass filter design.
  • Research Assistant at Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Sciences (KICS), UET, Lahore (April 2009 to August 2010).
    Setup & configure Hadoop as a High-Performance Computing Cluster (HPC) and developed API for data-intensive applications in java using Eclipse IDE. Developed RDI module for Packet Replication, Deflection, and Insertion at the lower layer of TCP/IP stack using Raw Socket Programming in C. Cross-compiled MPAC, an open-source networking benchmark, for Android hardware devices and developed applications in java for android phones. Build hands-on tutorials on GCD, DGB, and Android.

    Overseeing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) initiatives for engineers, ensuring compliance with CPD requirements set by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), organizing and facilitating CPD activities such as technical seminars, workshops, webinars, and training sessions aimed at enhancing engineers' skills and knowledge, working closely with the Engineering Professional Development Committee (EPDC) of PEC to ensure that CPD activities meet established standards and directives, liaising with professional organizations, CPD academies, engineering universities, and private institutions to provide a diverse range of CPD opportunities for engineers, contributing to the professional growth and development of engineers, enabling them to stay competitive, relevant, and competent in their field.

  • Syed Babar Ali Research Award 2020 as a recognition of outstanding overall academic performance in the Ph.D. program, I have won a research grant of 1 Million rupees being the inaugural winner of this prestigious SBARA award 2020.
  • HEC Indigenous Fellowship for Ph.D. (2018) to enhance qualification and researcher skills as an outstanding student.
  • Gold Medalist 2002 in Jinnah Grammar School for securing 87.76% in Matriculation Examination.
