Laboratories

There are four main fully equipped laboratories named as;

·         Food and Nutrition Lab

·         Chemistry/Dyeing and Printing Lab

·         Textiles Lab

·         Interior and Art lab 

Ø  Different manuals are available in department for students’ ease in performing practical work.

 Ø  All necessary equipment is available in department for practical performance of students. 

§  A research center also exists for promoting research culture.

§  Almost 3000 plus books related to the five major disciplines of Home Economics are available in the main library. Books which are purchased currently meet the requirements of revised curriculum.

§  Multimedia facility is also available. Teachers and students both use it for effective teaching/learning.
Free Wi-Fi facility is available.

§  The online course directory is established. All the courses’ titles, contents along with their related links of websites, checklists and books are available for students.

§  The LMS is also developed for ease of students.

§  The students have excess to e-library, which is helpful for doing research work as well as for preparation of assignments and presentation.

§  The university transport is available for students for outdoor projects/visits.
