September 24, 2025: Representatives of Girl Guide Association, Mrs. Nadeema Zafar and Mrs. Salma Sajjad from the Girl Guide Association had a meeting with Prof Dr Uzma Quraishi, Vice Chancellor LCWU.

Dr. Aisha Saddiqa, Head Intermediate Section, Prof. Dr. Neelma Munir, In Charge Intermediate (SS), and Director Student Affairs also attended the meeting. A fruitful discussion was held highlighting the role and significance of the Girl Guide movement, and how it can empower our students. Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi showed her commitment for engaging students of LCWU Intermediate section and BS in various activities such as camping and skill-building, Mental health, Civic awareness and leadership sessions that will provide students with valuable learning experiences beyond the classroom.

The team visited Student Service Centre and appreciated the involvement of students of LCWU in flood relief camp in collaboration with AL-Khidmat foundation. Later on, the team visited Intermediate section and a detailed discussion was done in the Intermediate section to plan out the schedule of introductory sessions for the students. Focal persons from LCWU, Ms. Zainab Mohsin and Ms. Shireen Shahid from the intermediate section will look after all the activities to be conducted under girl guide association.

Dr. Sumera Sajjad, DSA will be the focal person for the university BS students and faculty.The meeting was significant as it opened avenues for collaboration with the Girl Guide Association to foster leadership and life skills among students.
