On 9 March 2026, Dr Nausheen Mazhar represented Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) at the Joint International Symposium on Sustainable Futures hosted by the University of York, UK. As a signatory of the Letter of Intent, LCWU is a partner institute of the York Environmental Sustainability Institute (YESI). Dr Mazhar presented “Integrated Assessment of Atmospheric Systems in Pakistan: Science for Climate Action” in the session on Air Pollution and Atmospheric Systems. Researchers from partner institutions also shared work on climate resilience, environmental governance, ecosystems, and other sustainability systems shaping future pathways.
