Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi represented LCWU at the prestigious ceremony organized by the FPCCI

Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi, Vice Chancellor Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), represented LCWU and public sector universities at the prestigious ceremony organized by the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Pakistan and the People’s Republic of China.

While addressing the distinguished gathering, Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi emphasized that the future of Pakistan–China cooperation must be strengthened through meaningful academic collaboration, research partnerships, and knowledge exchange, particularly in emerging fields including Artificial Intelligence, renewable energy, agriculture, healthcare, and youth entrepreneurship.

 she stated that “Pakistan–China friendship is higher than the Himalayas, sweeter than honey, and stronger than iron.”

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, Finance Minister Punjab; Ch. Shafay Hussain, Provincial Minister for Industries Punjab; senior leadership of FPCCI; representatives of government departments; and distinguished guests from various sectors.

Representing LCWU, Dr. Hafsa Batool and Dr. Moneeba Iftikhar also participated in the event.
