The Department of Persian, LCWU, held a Book Talk under the patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi and chaired by Prof. Dr Faleeha Zahra Kazmi.The event focused on the book Udaas Aankhon Se Muskurana by Prof. Dr. Ansar Azhar, Director of Public Instruction (Colleges), Punjab. Dr. Naeem Ghuman gave the main review, with additional remarks from several faculty members praising the book's literary and scholarly merit.The Guest of Honour, Dr. Asghar Masoodi (Director, Iran Culture Centre, Lahore), praised Dr. Azhar's work and announced scholarships for the department's programmes.
