The 34th Meeting of the Academic Council was held on 27 July 2026. During the meeting, the Academic Council endorsed the recommendations of the respective Boards of Studies and Boards of Faculties, and recommended the introduction of various market-oriented academic programs in response to emerging educational and industry needs.
The Council also approved amendments to the curricula and course contents of various programs to ensure their continued relevance, quality, and alignment with contemporary academic and professional standards.
Furthermore, the Academic Council constituted a committee to examine the establishment of new academic centres and to review and streamline the functioning of existing centers, taking into consideration the University's available resources, financial implications, and operational requirements.
In addition, the Academic Council nominated members for the Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB) and the Discipline Committee. The Academic Council also recommended various Schemes of Studies for onward consideration and approval by the Syndicate.
