e-Rozgaar Awareness Session Series (April 2026)
The e-Rozgaar Center at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), under the visionary leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi, successfully conducted a five-day awareness session series across affiliated colleges in April 2026. This initiative was carried out with the objective of promoting digital skills, freelancing opportunities, and online earning potential among female students.
Objective
The primary aim of these sessions was to:
· Create awareness about the e-Rozgaar Program
· Introduce students to freelancing and digital career opportunities
· Encourage skill development in high-demand domains
· Motivate students towards financial independence through online platforms
Colleges Visited
The awareness sessions were conducted at the following affiliated colleges:
· Government Graduate College for Women, Gulberg
· Government Islamia Graduate College for Women, Tufail Road Cantt, Lahore
· Government Islamia Graduate College for Women, Cooper Road
· Government Graduate College for Women, Wapda Town
· Government Graduate College for Women, Samanabad
Team & Leadership
The sessions were conducted under the supervision of Incharge e-Rozgaar & Outreach Programme, Dr. Anjum Tahira.

· e-Rozgaar graduates (Web Development, Creative Design, Digital Marketing)
These graduates are now working as successful freelancers and entrepreneurs, bringing real-world experience to the sessions.

A particularly encouraging outcome was observed at Government Graduate College for Women, Wapda Town, where the administration expressed keen interest in initiating a full e-Rozgaar training batch at their institution.
Institutional Support
The e-Rozgaar team received warm welcome and full cooperation from the respective college administrations. Special acknowledgment is extended to all Principals for facilitating these sessions and encouraging student participation.
Special Note
During the session at Government Graduate College for Women, Samanabad, Dr. Anjum Tahira could not attend due to her participation in the ACU Membership Networking Event, as directed by the Vice Chancellor. However, the session was successfully conducted by the team.

Conclusion
