Khadija-tul-Kubra Business Incubation Centre (K-BIC), Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), organized an International Training Workshop on “Business Model Canvas Development” on April 20, 2026, at the Video Conference Room, IT Department, LCWU. The session was held in hybrid mode, allowing participants to join both physically and online.

The training was conducted by Dr. Sara Khawar, Head of SolBridge Startup Center, Daejeon, South Korea, who shared her knowledge and experience in entrepreneurship, business planning, and startup development.

During the session, Dr. Sara Khawar explained the nine key components of the Business Model Canvas and how they can be used to turn a business idea into a workable business plan. She discussed important aspects such as identifying customers, developing value propositions, managing resources, building partnerships, and planning revenue streams and costs.

Participants were guided on how to use the Business Model Canvas to better understand their business ideas, identify potential challenges, and make informed decisions about their startups. The session also included discussions on practical approaches to business planning and development.The training provided students and aspiring entrepreneurs with an opportunity to learn from an international expert and gain a better understanding of how to plan and develop their business ideas. K-BIC, LCWU continues to arrange such sessions to help students and startup founders develop practical business skills and connect with experienced professionals from Pakistan and abroad.
