First Session of Four-days Training programme on “Strategic Planning for Institutional Growth and Excellence” was organized under the proactive leadership and patronage of Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi, Vice Chancellor, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU).The program commenced on 24 August 2026 with an engaging session on “Transforming Research into Societal Impact,” conducted by Prof. Dr. Yasir Nawab, Vice Chancellor, University of Kamalia, as the Resource Person. The session highlighted the significance of translating academic research into practical solutions and meaningful societal impact.

The training programme is being organized by the Faculty Development Centre, Directorate of Faculty Development & Interative-Learning (DFDI), LCWU, for HODs, Deans, and Directors, with the aim of strengthening strategic leadership, institutional planning, research impact, and organizational excellence.

The initiative reflects LCWU’s continued commitment to capacity building, leadership development, innovation, and excellence in higher education.
