Students of the Department of Gender and Development Studies, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) represented the university at the National Youth-led Policy Roundtable on Water Resilience and Climate Action in Pakistan, organized by WaterAid Pakistan in collaboration with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Government of Pakistan.

The roundtable provided a platform for youth representatives from different cities and provinces to share regional challenges, concerns, and policy recommendations directly with Federal Minister Musadik Masood Malik.

The LCWU representative highlighted the importance of meaningful gender and youth inclusion in climate policy-making, emphasizing the need to ensure that young people, particularly women, have a stronger voice in shaping Pakistan’s climate and water-resilience agenda.

The participation reflects LCWU’s commitment to youth engagement, gender-responsive policy-making, and climate action.
