one-day workshop on “Outcome-Based Education (OBE)” was successfully organized at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) under the esteemed patronage and guidance of Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi, Vice Chancellor, LCWU. The workshop was hosted by Dr. Tahira Kalsoom.
The workshop brought together faculty members of LCWU to strengthen their understanding and practical application of Outcome-Based Education. The sessions focused on empowering teaching, enhancing learning, achieving excellence, aligned learning outcomes, effective assessment and feedback, and continuous improvement and quality assurance.
The workshop featured distinguished resource persons, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor, Islamia University Bahawalpur, and Dr. Sadia Murawwat, who shared valuable insights and practical perspectives on implementing OBE effectively in higher education.
The workshop was organized by the Faculty Development Centre (FDC), Directorate of Faculty Development & Internationalization (DFDI), LCWU, reflecting the university’s continued commitment to faculty capacity building, teaching excellence, quality enhancement, and student-centered learning.
