A delegation of MCAP (Media & Communication Academic Professionals), comprising Prof. Dr. Bushra Hameeedur Rahman, Prof. Dr. Abida Ashraf, and Dr. Zaeem Yasin met with Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi, Vice Chancellor, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), today. Chairperson Department of Mass Communication LCWU was also present in the meeting.

During the meeting, the delegation discussed plans for the upcoming MCAP International Conference 2026 and the possibility of organizing a Doctoral Spring School at LCWU. Both initiatives aim to promote academic collaboration, research, knowledge-sharing, and professional development in the field of Media and Communication.

Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi warmly welcomed both proposals and appreciated the initiative. She emphasized the importance of organizing meaningful academic ventures at LCWU and encouraged collaborative efforts that contribute to the academic and research landscape of the university.
